Logo: Redesigned

Posted on 12 March 2009 by Chris Cash

Below is a logo that I redesigned for a client. He was looking for a revamped look to the original design, done by another designer. I ran with it, and in a few hours, had this as a final product for him in his email. He was on a very tight deadline as this logo had to be to the printers so that he could get them back to attach to products that he had waiting to ship. The blue one on the left is the original, my new one is on the right in black.

America The Catastrophic

Posted on 12 December 2008 by Chris Cash

Ok, so maybe the nuclear explosion seems a bit over the top, but it will help emphasize my point as you read on.  I am sure you are just as sick of the impending doom that has been constantly held over our heads throughout the past few years, in particular in 2008.  We have had a roller coaster ride over the past 7 years, really.  I mean, didn’t all of this start with 9/11?  Not to be cliché, but those attacks changed us, forever.  We have been a nation going through post traumatic stress syndrome ever since.  We have had extreme reactions to all of this.  Ultimate highs, and now, impending lows.  Continue Reading

2012 – The End Of…Everthing?

Posted on 03 December 2008 by Chris Cash

There is a movie coming out next summer called “2012.” You can see the trailer here under the Movies tab.  This is something that I have heard about for years.  No, not the movie, but what the movie is about.  The almost mystical significance to the year 2012.  From the Christian theorists, to the Mayan Calender and more, the year 2012 spells out the end for us.  At least as we know it.  The idea is tossed around that the earth may die, we as humans may die, or an incredible change will come upon us.  No matter the outcome, these predictions indicate that our lives as we know them will be forever changed in the year 2012. Private

Posted on 03 December 2008 by Chris Cash

This is another pic I took while in downtown Tampa, FL.  It is again a parking garage but this time for special people only.  Marked quite clearly “Private.”  I thought It would be fun to do this one with selective color.

Sky Light

Posted on 03 December 2008 by Chris Cash

This was a simple enough shot. I was in Central Park in New York City and I looked up at the trees above me to see the sun shining down through them. Decided to try and get a shot of it. The glint on the lens gave it a great refractive effect.

WWII Noobs

Posted on 03 December 2008 by Chris Cash

This is priceless! Try to keep up with it. You need to know a little texting lingo to get it.  This is done in a fashion that all of the WWII leaders are playing a RPG (Role Playing Game). I found this thru www.digg.com.  Have a good laugh…go ahead, I won’t tell.  To start this from the begining click here.

Caution

Posted on 02 December 2008 by Chris Cash

This is one of my favorite pics I have taken.  It is a point of view shot.  I was in downtown Tampa, FL and these caught my eye.  They are pedestrian caution signs for the entrance and exits of a parking garage.

The World in His Hands

Posted on 02 December 2008 by Chris Cash

This is a friend of mine, Terry.  He was so gracious as to let me put him thru the ringer in my first studio attempt.  I really wish I could redo this with a digital camera because scanned film is not as sharp on a computer monitor.  Either way, the concept is complete and I am pretty happy with that!

Abstract

Posted on 28 September 2008 by Chris Cash

Ok…so it’s no Picasso.  Gimme a break.  This is an abstract shot of the corner of a building in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  It was across the street from my hotel that I lived in for 4 months.  It is one of my first shots with my Cannon Film SLR.  Yes, it is an older picture.  I haven’t the money for a Digital SLR yet.  But Bill sure is making me want one really bad since he got his.  Bastard!
